Ana Waddington is a registered paediatric nurse with extensive experience in frontline emergency care, both in paediatrics and in adults. She is particularly passionate about adolescent care. She has worked in the emergency department of Europe's largest trauma centre. During the pandemic, Ana was seconded part time as the first paediatric nurse to work for the physicians response unit. She then proceeded to work as a trauma coordinator supporting patients through their trauma journey. She spent a year working as a critical care outreach nurse, stabilising the most sickest patients in the hospital.
