In this episode, Johnny talks about how we can use competition to “uplevel” our lives. He uses two real-life examples of how he is challenging and pushing himself out of his comfort zone. These examples (pickleball tournaments and speaking competitions) have pushed him into an uncomfortable place so he can always strive for improvement.

As men, we are always competing against other people, either openly or in our heads. But more than that, we’re constantly competing against ourselves. We are our own worst and most determined opponents and–if we can positively harness that–we can use that inner competitiveness to motivate us to be better, stronger, and more powerful.
