Madison Fischer was born in Ontario, Canada and started rock climbing at age 11. She has represented Canada in 4 continents both as a youth climber and now an Open competitor. She also has her sights on the Olympics, which we discussed in this conversation. In addition to being an internationally-competitive climber, she’s also an excellent writer. We discussed why she's been social media free since 2018, her training, and what being a coach has taught her about climbing.
