Joseph Mossel is CEO and Co-Founder of Ibex Medical Analytics, a next generation cancer diagnostics startup aiming to reduce diagnostic error and improve patient care. Over his career he served as a software engineer, product manager and in leadership roles in startups, corporates and non-profits, and has taken products from inception to multi-million dollar businesses. He holds a MSc in computer science from Tel Aviv University, and a MSc in environmental science from VU Amsterdam.

Ibex Medical Analytics are a multidisciplinary team of entrepreneurs, data scientists, software engineers and medical experts, working together to realise their vision: Transforming cancer diagnostics with AI and improving patient care. Pathologists are challenged to provide accurate and timely analysis as the number of tests increases every year - Ibex uses artificial intelligence (AI) to develop clinical-grade solutions that help detect cancer as accurately as a human pathologist. Their Galen Platform uses algorithms to analyse images, detect and grade cancer in biopsies and point to other findings with high clinical importance, helping pathologists reduce diagnostic error rates. and enable a more efficient workflow.
