Eliav Shaked is a biomedical engineer from Israel who once worked at a summer camp in upstate New York. A favorite staffer there developed dementia and went downhill so fast that Eliav couldn’t even visit her. That’s when he decided to focus his talents on early detection of Alzheimer’s Disease.

RetiSpec --short for retinal spectroscopy, is an innovative imaging company using artificial intelligence to detect neurodegenerative diseases. Eliav co-founded the company and is its CEO.
