The NFL Combine kicked off drills on Thursday, but the biggest news of the day was an injury issue with top prospect Abdul Carter. However, it sounds like Carter will be fine and the issue was overblown. Finally, the Kansas City Chiefs made a somewhat surprising move and tagged guard Trey Smith. Regardless, Smith can't play on the franchise tag this season for financial reasons.
