Several studies have evaluated the use of intravenous vitamin C alongside chemotherapy in cancer patients. A study published in 2014 in JAMA focused on pancreatic cancer patients and found that IV vitamin C did not improve survival or quality of life when compared to chemotherapy alone. Similarly, a meta-analysis from 2020 concluded that there was no consistent benefit from IV vitamin C on cancer survival.
