The White House and Democrats are hoping to strike a deal on a slimmed down version of the Build Back Better bill that includes major climate and clean energy legislation – a key priority before the midterm elections. That’s brought all eyes back to Sen. Joe Manchin, who’s been a defender of fossil fuels in the caucus, but has also been open to a historic green energy push.
