Who are the Divine Feminine beings behind these good forces, and what are their shadow aspects?

This episode is a third reference of Stacey Demarco's ⁠⁠Goddesses and Sirens⁠⁠ oracle cards, which are beautifully illustrated by Jimmy Manton. We will be learning about two feminine icons: Kuan Yin, the goddess of mercy and compassion, and Hecate, the goddess of the Crone/wise woman and the underworld.

The lessons these goddesses have to offer us are essential for tending to ourselves and others with kindness, courage and fortitude. Kuan Yin reminds us to live with a gentle heart and consider another person’s point of view and choose connection over separateness, while Hecate urges us to examine our darker aspects and trust that our path is illuminated from our light within. These goddesses represent two of the most beloved and feared faces of the Divine Feminine and remind us that, as all goddess archetypes, these powerful essences are within us all, supporting the human capacity for great compassion and wisdom.
