Mason Giles is a founder and the Chief Technology Officer at Comet Backup. Mason has 10+ years of experience in the backup industry. At Comet, he leads R&D and software development, bringing innovative technologies to market (such as Comet’s chunking algorithm) delivering considerable improvements in speed and efficiency to IT teams. Mason has a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics from the University of Canterbury. Outside of work, he loves board games, being outdoors, and eating pineapple ice cream.
