Paul's Arrival in Malta

Following a tumultuous journey, Paul safely arrives on the island of Malta after being shipwrecked. The local islanders display remarkable kindness by building a fire to warm the stranded travelers during a cold and rainy day. However, while collecting firewood, Paul is bitten by a venomous snake, which surprises the islanders who initially view him as a murderer deserving of punishment. When he miraculously suffers no ill effects, they shift their perception, declaring him a god, illustrating how people's views on justice and morality can change drastically based on circumstances.
