The demand for research facilities has led to low vacancy. In some cases, other types of commercial space has been reconfigured for research use. Roger Humphrey, the global leader of JLL's Life Sciences practice explains that while continuing to manufacture vital medicines, these companies have taken on the additional challenge of creating drugs, tests and therapies to combat COVID-19.
