The PurposeGirl Podcast Episode 096: Shifting Your Fear Into Courage

How many times in your life have you stopped yourself from trying out something new, or didn't allow yourself to chase your dreams because of your biggest enemy that kept holding you back - fear. How do we master fear? How do we shift our fear into courage? How can we befriend our fear? We must take action. Action is our antidote to fear. Without fear there is no courage. And the only thing stopping you from achieving your dreams is, indeed, fear!

In this episode, I talk about 4 clients and their stories as an example of how to overcome your fear and how to face it. I share with you some of the exercises that I took these women through and show how we were able to shift them from fear to courage and to take action towards their dreams.

• J: A soon to be lawyer fights her fears with her uniqueness and purpose.
• K: After 20 years of working in one industry, K fights her fears of moving forward and leaving her industry behind to pursue a bigger purpose.
• P: Fights her fears over money and fear she will lose profit and purpose with it.
• A: Faces fear after she discovers her purpose.

I talk about the similarities in our body between fear and excitement and help you shift from a fear response to feeling excited. Those who have dreams and successfully pursue them did so by going for them in the face of their fear.
