Trump’s picks for OPM, OMB face federal workforce probes from Senate committee

Two of President Trump's picks to lead a major overhaul of the federal workforce faced a range of questions from senators last week, the two Trump nominees discussed their plans and everything from performance management to collective bargaining, but throughout the Senate nomination hearing, the mass terminations of probationary employees came up repeatedly.
