Han Nguyen's Journey to Opening New Mobility Rehabilitation
Han Nguyen, a physical therapist, shared her journey from graduating in 2019 to opening her private practice in 2023. Inspired by a gap between inpatient and outpatient therapy, she established Nubility Rehabilitation, focusing on high-intensity, functional training for individuals with neurologic conditions.
The Decision to Start a Private Practice
Han's decision to start her own clinic was influenced by reflections during COVID, parental support, and a desire for professional growth and leadership. Although uncertain at first, influenced by observing limited options for neuro rehab in her area, Han decided to take the leap into private practice.
Navigating Growth and Expansion
Han's journey included challenges such as negotiating Medicare credentialing, changing business names, and managing IRS involvement. Balancing clinical work, admin tasks, and team expansion, Han strategically planned and navigated through obstacles to ensure profitability and growth.
Vision for Future Development
Han's future vision includes expanding Nubility Rehabilitation into a larger space, incorporating high-tech rehabilitation devices, and offering specialized programs for conditions like stroke and Parkinson's. With a focus on quality care, continuous learning, and adaptive strategies, Han aims to create a unique, client-focused neuro rehabilitation experience.
