Why mums are awesome writers: How mumming inspires and fuels writing for poet and children's author Laura Farina

Laura Faurina is a mother and an author of two full-length books of poetry, Some Talk of Being Human (Mansfield Press, 2014) and This Woman Alphabetical (Pedlar Press, 2005), as well as a picture book This is the Path the Wolf Took (Kids Can Press, 2020). In this episode, Laura shares how motherhood both fuels her writing and challenges it, and some of the hilarious consequences of that tension. She also offer tips for other mum writers drawn from her own publishing and writing journey.
