Jon Jackson of Comfort Farms and Stag Vets Inc joins Kevin Estela in this week's podcast. Jackson shares his interest in farming and tracing food back through his ancestral roots from the trans Atlantic slave trade. Jackson runs an organization providing veterans with a healthy outlet raising animals, humane butchering, and providing meals from the farm. Estela and Jackson discuss the importance of protecting the food supply, why you should not eat sterile foods, and comfort foods made from unwanted cuts of meat.
