This has led to an apology video, international news coverage, and a firestorm of vitriol directed at her. Why has this issue become such a big deal ? Elsewhere, Netflix has also drawn the ire of Egyptians, with the revelation that the historical figure Cleopatra will be played by a black actress in an upcoming Netflix documentary. Why the outrage?
