News broke today about a small presser held by Martha Ford in which she announce the continuation of the Bob Quinn and Matt Patricia regime for the 2020 season. She spoke to the need for some new assistants and the need to be a playoff contender. We dive into what this means for the team and evaluate the decision. We also discuss how this situation might affect the actions of Quinn and Patricia going forward. What it bodes for the team and what to look forward for the rest of the season.

In other breaking news, Mrs. Ford and her daughter Sheila made it clear that the team is not for sale. Not to Jeff Bezos, not to anyone. The Detroit Lions Podcast discusses how important it was for Sheila Ford Hamp to step forward and make a statement. There was a message sent in that action, and we discuss what the message behind the message was.
