"Zindagi, Adab, Adaigee" - Zaheer Alam Kidvai - Episode 29

When a friend suggested Zaheer Saab for 'dhaani', i jumped at the opportunity and it was not difficult to speak to this Legend of Pakistan. Zaheer Alam Kidvai was born in 1940 and witnessed the partition in 1947. In this conversation, Zaheer Saab catalogues many instances from his growing up years, to enrolling in the Merchant Navy, from travels with his parents to his own captaincy across the oceans, from exposure to poetry to exposure to social media.

He candidly shares his opinion on the human existence, the best way or not the best way to sail through life, laughter being the essence of life for him whilst he has had his own share of pain and misery. He has been instrumental  in setting up the T2F platform in Karachi and also a pioneer of Multimedia studies in Pakistan.  His interests lie in music, poetry, books and living a life with compassion and understanding. He has been married for over 40 years and is a father to a young lady residing in NYC
