In Episode 204 I sit down with my friend Joshua Dukes. Joshua and I became friends online as we both walked a similar path as first responders that ultimately left the profession because of the Covid Pandemic! After we connected, we kicked the idea of a Maui Axis deer hunt together and last weekend he and his boys guided me and Zach on an unforgettable adventure! A powerful friendship was forged over three long days hunting hard in the woods together. In today’s episode, we dive deep into hunting in Hawaii, and then also tell Joshua’s story going from a standout firefighter to being terminated over taking a stand for personal freedom during the pandemic. Joshua and his family are some of the best human beings I’ve ever met, and I am excited to forge a friendship that will undoubtedly last a lifetime!
