Jack Pettis was one of the first saxophonists in Jazz - playing C melody with Ben Bernie and His Orchestra, he also headed numerous recording dates with the same personnel - here we have him with Bill Moore, Tony Parenti, Don Murray, Al Goering, Jimmy Dorsey, Eddie Lang and Joe Venuti among others . . great hot dance music with jazz ingredients from 1926-29
