Ep.1058 - Its Hard to See Stability
In this podcast we cover:
- Your most stable areas of the project may be your best ones.
- The squeaky wheel getting the grease does not mean its a good tire.
- How you can evaluate your organization and assess your best and most chaotic players.
In this episode, Jason shares why stability is one of the hardest things to recognize in leadership and why it is so vital to success in construction. Using the example of his colleague Carol Zamora, he highlights the qualities of level five leadership and how quiet, humble stability creates strong systems and lasting results. Jason explains why organizations often undervalue stabilizers, reward firefighters, and unintentionally create chaos. He challenges leaders to shift their focus away from noise and drama and instead recognize, protect, and reward the people who bring order and flow. This episode is a reminder that in construction, boring is beautiful and stability is the key to finishing strong.
