James is originally from New Zeeland, he got into it just like most because of their father. New Zeeland had an extensive charter fleet but that was declining slowly. James got an opportunity to go down to Costa Rica to help on a boat for 3 months and right after the 3 months James never went back home he hopped on a boat "Carol Libby" and did a lot of the Fad fishing in Costa Rica.
