Understanding Najwa: The Concept of Secret Counsel

Najwa refers to the act of engaging in secret counsel or private discussions, which can have both positive and negative implications. This concept is exemplified through various scenarios such as family meetings or corporate gatherings, where discussions happen behind closed doors. In the context of the early Muslim community in Medina, the emergence of najwa highlighted the complex motivations of individuals within the growing Muslim population, revealing that not all appeared to share genuine loyalty or intentions.
