In this episode, we speak to James Moore, a designer, creative & fashion entrepreneur who has been building his brand and business since he was just 14!

We explore his background, from growing up in a middle-class family, starting his brand with a friend, experiencing hate and negativity from classmates who didn't understand his vision, to eventually dropping out of college to go all-in on building his brand and making his dreams a reality. He discusses how he worked part-time in a supermarket to help fund stock purchases and cash flow, and how fortunately for him he always had his parent's support.

He explains how he originally grew the brand through influencer partnerships and organic social, before pivoting to paid spend across the usual platforms, and how he has essentially led the creative direction of the brand by simply designing for himself. We dive into some insightful stories of supplier scams, building a team, balancing life priorities as well as a recent bad experience involving an A-list celebrity artist...and much, much more.

I think this episode is a super authentic, honest insight into the world of building a brand in your early 20s - the highs, lows, challenges and everything in between that are involved when building something real.
