Cmdr. David Fravor is a graduate of the TOPGUN naval flight program. He was a commander of the F/A-18F squadron on the USS Nimitz when he experienced an Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP, UFO) during a routine training flight over the Pacific ocean in 2004. Video of a similar encounter has been released by the Pentagon and has been widely reported on including by the New York Times and 60 Minutes.
