As the government shutdown continues into record length, U.S. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy has announced a reduction in flights as airports struggle with staffing air traffic controller towers. The plan will cut air travel capacity by ten percent at forty major airports in the United States. While delays and cancellations have started to pick up, its is only expected to become a much bigger problem as the holiday season approaches.
FOX’s Eben Brown speaks with Geoff Freeman, President and CEO of the U.S. Travel Association, who says Americans are really being let down and should reach out to their Senators and Representatives to end the shutdown.
