Flow State Business Using Your Voice - Crushing through the fear (even on LinkedIn!)
“Who am I to say/ do anything?”
I’ve had numerous calls& msgs today with my mastermind and private clients around what to do if you’re feeling as though it’s not your place to share or do anything right now.
It’s a tough, rough, scary and painful time for so many.
I’ve heard from friends who have had to take shelter and leave their homes due to the riots.
I’ve heard from clients who are actively participating in peaceful protests, unsure if they’ll be safe.
Family in the States who are sharing how horrific the scenes are right now outside.
For some of us it’s easy to feel so far removed from all (geographically) OR too close and too paralyzed to say a single thing.
I’ve been in this back and forth toil with what to say and how to say it. But ultimately I truly believe that we can all take some form of action.
1)Sharing other people’s inspiring posts
2) sharing your own sources of education and learning, reaching out to someone
3) doing the inner work to centre and find strength
4) for those that have communities and followers reach out and step up
One thing I want to say is - not all of us are made to react and share FAST. So don’t feel like it’s too late to join the conversation, I totally get that it can take time.
BUT
Being in inaction ain’t helping anyone.
🙇🏻♀️You have a voice. Use it. Even if it’s just calling a friend or speaking to your family.
🤳You have a phone. Write a post from your soul, write those emails, send petitions whatever feels really aligned right now.
🧠 You have a mind that’s hungry to learn. Seek out expanders and educators who can help. Sign up to workshops and challenges.
👩🏻💻 You have a successful business. Donate, look at your diversity policies (or lack thereof), giveback, share your platform.
There’s so much that can be done... even if you journal to yourself and release those fears around judgement and fear.
You have a voice and it’s more powerful that you know 💛
