Two county clerks in Missouri say they were contacted by Trump’s Department of Justice. The clerks, both serving in Republican leaning counties, say the DOJ official wants access to Dominion voting machines ahead of the 2026 midterm elections. The Missouri Independent says the DOJ official making the calls is Andrew McCoy “Mac” Warner who, while serving as West Virginia’s secretary of state, falsely claimed the CIA and FBI colluded with Facebook’ to steal the 2020 presidential election from Trump. We’ll dig deeper into this story and see whether states are going to be able to keep the voting machines out of the hands of Trump’s Administration or anyone connected to the big lie.
