It builds trust among teams. It allows us to honestly evaluate problems and come up with sustainable solutions. Vulnerability also gives back to us all the mental, emotional, and even physical energy we spend trying to hide our flaws and who we really are.

So, how do you start to unlock vulnerability and authenticity, especially if you’re a woman leader in the workplace? First, lean into your strengths so that you feel confident in allowing people to know about your weaknesses. Second, discover and ask for what you truly need. Third, develop and enhance your support system.
