It’s pretty clear from comments and feedback over the weekend that many people are very angry about the way Princess Catherine has been treated.

We now know the real reason she’s been absent from public life in the months since her abdominal surgery, and it is worlds away from the frenzied speculation.

But do we have a right to ask questions?
