9 AM ET: DNC sit-in, hostage families boycott, superyacht body recovered & more

The DNC will culminate with Vice President Kamala Harris accepting the party's nomination tonight, but a sit-in outside the convention highlights some divisions in the party. The families of some of those being held in Gaza are boycotting Israel's commemoration of the October 7th attacks because of a lack of a ceasefire and hostage release deal. Brazil will start restricting travelers from some Asian countries to reduce migration to the US and Canada. Google will spend hundreds of million of dollars to fund some California newsrooms, but the deal faces criticism.
