Dulce Base is said to be a human/non-human co-operative secret base hidden within Archuleta Mesa on Jicarilla Apache Nation territory in New Mexico. Avery Tafoya is a Council Memer of the Jicarila Apache Nation, and he joined us to discuss the high strangeness observed for many decades in this area, as well as in neighbouring areas such as Skinwalker Ranch.

We had a lot to discuss, as these lands have been said to display UFO's and orbs, cattle mutilations, unmarked black helicopters, as well as claims that an underground secret base exists, which had been confirmed by the likes of Paul Bennewitz and John Lear. This phenomena has also left a mark on the historic and cultural record of the people, and creatures like "Skinwalker" are even to this day, a topic not to be discussed or named for fear of hightened activity.

Unlike previous UFO conspiracy theorists, John Lear promoted a story of alien collusion with secret governmental forces. One author observed, "In the early years UFO writers did not by and large embrace strong political positions. Lear and his partner were the tip of a spear asserting that the number one thing we had to fear was not little green men, but the government that colluded with them, appropriating their technology against us."
