In my first conversation with Johannes we talked about his journey leaving the academy and participating in the new philosophical emergence with the founding of the Halykon Guild. We considered why philosophy lacks standing today and the re-appearance of questions of being and stillness. Lastly we riffed on Nietzsche's death of God and how we have 'swallowed the ocean' and wiped away the horizon of man.
