Dr. Reda is a global trauma expert, the author of several books, and a highly sought-after dynamic public speaker.. He has extensive experience and expertise working with survivors of all kinds of trauma and has developed a particular soft spot in his heart for children and refugees. Dr. Reda is the founder and director of multiple projects nationally and globally that address psychosocial healing, recovery, rehabilitation, and reconciliation.
He has served as the psychosocial advisor for several international non-governmental organizations, as a World Health Organization trainer, and as Libya’s deputy mental health lead during the 2011 war. He is also the founder of Untangled and The Wounded Healer models of care. He lives between Oregon and Colorado with his wife and three daughters.
