Ep 409: Labour demands RET Levy accountability at GambleAware conference

The duo discuss the mood at the event given the latest updates to both the Statutory Levy and stake limits, as well as the reaction to the changes and the new NHS framework. They also talk about Labour’s Gambling Minister, Baroness Twycross, who made her first appearance at the event, and consider the implications of her speech which set out the need for accountability regarding the reforms. 

Towards the end of the episode, Joe and Ted look forward to what the UK gambling industry can expect from the UK government and Gambling Commission as it looks to negotiate the next steps in the country’s gambling reforms.
