Cesarean Births and Breastfeeding

“Hey honey, a topic came up at work today that I am hoping you can help with.  People at work know you are breastfeeding our little guy.  One of my co-workers is pregnant and she has to have a c-section.  Would that impact breastfeeding?” 

“Hmm.  That’s a good question honey. I have talked to a couple of new mothers who had c-sections, but I am not sure about the situations.  However, breastfeeding after a c-section is the topic on the Badass Breastfeeding Podcast this week.  I haven’t listened yet, but I’m sure it would be helpful.”  

“Honey, that’s perfect.  I will tell her to listen to the podcast for all the information!”
