The “elevator story” of CHC is a story of redemption, one that acknowledges the imperfection of man and the realities of life; yet experiencing God's redemptive grace and resurrection power. We want to cultivate “deep people” who are willing to go beyond the superficial, hungry for intimacy with God, sensitive to the heart of God and obedient to step beyond the convenience ... into willing sacrifice.The way forward for CHC is for us to keep the story honest—having a sense of a higher mission and a sense of authenticity and vulnerability.
