DREAM THINK DO | Motivation, Encouragement & Strategy 360: The GRACE To RESET
Now, when I talked about all of this in episode 246, we talked about this being a one time of year thing. And that makes sense. It's good and healthy to set a specific time to think about the stuff you want to do… accomplish and experience.
BUT… here's the KICKER. A LOT of people have said that they've actually listened to that episode later in the year. Like in February... March... or April and they've said... "THIS week is the best week to RESET," because it's the week I'm in!" And… hey… I couldn't agree more!
So with this short episode... we're going to REVISIT the concept of RESET WEEK and invite you to give yourself some grace to make THIS week... (no matter when the flip you're listening to this)... your RESET WEEK. And to give yourself a little grace as you do! So… let's get to this!

Man... I don't know about you... but although I'm super glad to see numbers improving every day... there's still a true residue that's on sooooo many people right now. Including me.
- I'm a pretty positive guy... but I've felt it easier to get bummed out and burned out and freaked out.
- Am I alone on this?
- We've got to give ourselves a little space and a LOT of grace.
- That's got me thinking a lot about GRACE lately.
LET'S TALK ABOUT GRACE:
- Definition of grace (noun):
1a: unmerited divine assistance given to humans for their regeneration or sanctification
1b: a virtue coming from God
- Definition of grace (verb):
"Grace means having an effortless disposition for generosity, helpfulness, and goodwill towards others."

- Read a book and actually TRY something
- Life:
- Sign up for a class
- Give yourself some space
REMEMBER:

Examples:
- Brave
- Loving
- Innovative
- Strong
- Hope-filled
- Assertive
- Faithful
- Faith-filled
- Generous

Write it down somewhere you want to be reminded of it... and just BE that.
EXAMPLE: Generous

- Smile

EXAMPLE from MY week: Holding just a bit more loosely to my day
- I had a podcast guest cancel due to illness...
- Simple... I went for a hike at different time

- Focus on being in the moment more
- Focus on learning as opposed to judging (you or others)
- Focus on progress not perfection
- Focus on bringing encouragement to others
- Focus on giving yourself some space
CALL TO ACTION:
- INVITE A FRIEND
- Give yourself some GRACE to not do it perfectly
