In Part 2 of this special exploration of the Law of Karma, Gautamji takes us deeper into destiny and the ultimate purpose of human life as presented by the Bhagavad Gita and Vedanta. Moving beyond body, mind, and intellect, he explains that our true nature is the Self, and that “human minus ego and egocentric desires equals God.” He outlines the three yogas—Jnana, Bhakti, and Karma—as coordinated disciplines to remove desires, and uses the symbolism of yajna and fire-sacrifice to show how selfless action and giving transform both our inner peace and outer success. Finally, he clarifies the relationship between God and karma, the central role of intention in our actions, and the Gita’s call to self-effort: lifting ourselves through steady study, reflection, and service.
