Bigg Vinny’s life is a true country ballad, full of highs and lows. Born in rural Middle Tennessee, he endured an abusive childhood before making the brave decision to leave home at 14. Vinny worked hard, supporting himself through high school and a job as a general manager, all while nurturing a deep love for music inherited from his touring musician father.

Determined to pursue his musical dreams, Vinny moved to Nashville, facing skepticism due to his weight. Undeterred, he formed the band Trailer Choir, which gained fame touring with Toby Keith and securing a record deal. However, his journey took a dramatic turn when he faced severe health issues at 26. Refusing surgery, Vinny joined "The Biggest Loser," shedding 242 pounds and transforming his life.

Today, Vinny is not only a successful musician and motivational speaker, but also a founder of Music with a Mission, a non-profit supporting music programs in schools. His creativity extends to songwriting for top artists, authoring a children's book, and co-hosting "The Refined Life Podcast." As an investor in The Buffalo River Resort, he offers others a place to enjoy nature. Currently, he performs in the Shriners Nashville Variety Show and tours with the Nashville Cartel, inspiring audiences with his powerful story and message of resilience.
