It was 4am

Sally had been up all night nursing her second daughter (who wasn’t a great sleeper).

She hadn’t slept a wink yet…

And her alarm was due to go off in 90 minutes to get ready for work. 

After months of juggling family and corporate life while suffering from severe sleep deprivation - Sally finally reached rock bottom and that’s when she had her ‘light bulb’ moment.

She saw a post on Pinterest that posed two questions:

1. What skills do you have?

2. What do people come to you for help with?

Sally reflected on these questions and thought to herself,

“What if I could start my own business?”

Then she would be able to work from home, support her family and she could finally get some much needed sleep!

After spending 10+ years in recruitment and talent acquisition roles in the corporate world, Sally had gained specific knowledge in what makes a resume stand out.

It was an area people always came to her for help with.

On this sleep deprived day, 

Sally made the decision to start her resume writing side hustle.

She told a colleague at work, and that night created her business Facebook Group! Within 12 months her side hustle had become her main hustle. 

And she left her corporate career behind. 

Sally’s resume writing business has now evolved into a career coaching business where she and her team work with professionals and business owners who are stuck in a crossroad in their careers.
