With a Masters in Theological Studies, as well as Diplomas in Religious Studies and Ministry, and University Teaching, David Hayward is no stranger to belief systems. In 2010, after 30 years as a pastor, David left the ministry to focus on his art as The NakedPastor and the community that was emerging around it. When he started NakedPastor it was a novelty but has since grown into a diverse global community of independent thinkers who support each other on their journey to personal spiritual freedom. Beyond his art, David has also written 9 books and has been blogging on spirituality, deconstruction, and religious freedom since 2006.
