Welcome back to Iron Sights! After returning from 4-days in Nevada, which you heard all about on Friday's episode (After Dark #62), I realized we haven't sat down to discuss movement patterns. Being on the range reminded me of how important training specific movement patterns is regardless of your goal and/or training application. When it comes to daily life the typical movement patterns we hear about are: pushing, pulling, twisting, lunging, squatting, jumping and gait or walking. In this episode, we focus on rotation and lateral movement: two movements that are commonly missing from the typical program.
