Who's ready for Pride? We are! And there's so much coming up - lots to cover. So we're kicking off this annual celebration of the LGBTQ community with an all Day in Gay edition of LGBT FC.
Daisy and Luke first chat at 11 minutes in with Ryan Keesee (@keesee22 on Twitter and Insta), supporter of Atlanta United and member of the All Stripes, to hear some about what's happening in Georgia and how folks are organizing to build community in difficult times.
Then at 36'15", we are joined by Sister Babs of the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence (@LADragNuns on Twitter and Insta), to share with us their experience of being invited, then uninvited, and then reinvited by the Dodgers to their annual Pride Night. And then at 53'15" Bamby Salcedo, President and CEO of the Trans Latin@ Coalition (@translatina_c on Twitter and @translatinacoalition on Insta), shares about that group's incredible work (and also why you should give to the 3252 and Pride Republic's Prideraiser).
