In today's episode of the Inspiration2grow podcast, I am talking about shifting your limiting beliefs surrounding your fitness abilities. You might have been told that you weren't too great at a sport or fitness-related skill when you were younger. You may remember those dreaded exercises in P.E. Classes back in your teen years at school. This could have led you to believe certain things about your abilities and dampened your confidence in yourself causing you to avoid them. Well, I am here to tell you: it's never too late to change your mindset, and it's never too late to try something new and become good at it.
If you have/develop a growth mindset around fitness, you believe you can get fitter, stronger and even more athletic, no matter where you're starting from.
In this episode I cover 6 approaches to shift from a fixed mindset to a growth mindset providing examples from a fitness/exercise perspective, but these approaches can be applied to any area of your life in which you wish to grow.
