Despite therapeutic advances, the cardiometabolic disease burden remains disproportionally high in patients from racial and ethnic populations. The reasons for these disparities are complex and underlined by social determinants of health and limited access to appropriate healthcare, among other factors. During this webinar, Dr. Keith C. Ferdinand, MD, hosted a panel with key opinion leaders to discuss the current state of these disparities as well as strategies to better help close these gaps going forward.
