Just days before Christmas 1974, three young girls — ages 9, 14 and 17 — go to the mall to do some last-minute gift shopping. Only, they never return. Police believe they’ve run away and are slow to investigate, forcing the girls’ families to mount their own search. A cryptic letter and a phone call are the only real clues they have to the girls’ fates.
