We discuss two newly pervasive lines on the pandemic. First, that case numbers are an increasingly unimportant metric, and that what we should be looking to hospitalization numbers instead. Second, that on top of that, we need to find out how many people are "hospitalized for" covid, compared with those who are simply "hospitalized with" covid.
